Wood Floors Damaged By Storm

Storm Water Causes Damage To Wood Flooring

When severe storms rolled through our area, heavy rains caused a stormwater intrusion that did the damage you see pictured here. When nature throws a curveball at you, hopefully, you will not have to remove the flooring like we had to do for this family. Here are some things you can do to prevent that from happening.

• Make sure your gutters are clear of debris
• Any cracks in your foundation should be filled inside and out
• If possible, put in retaining walls to help deter flood waters
