When Your Home Has Mold

Removing The Mold

The only way to really get rid of mold is to remove any material with visible signs of growth. Because of the humidity being too  high in the crawlspace below this home after a pipe broke, mold began to grow and affected the flooring. We had to remove all of the damaged material. However, the new floor could not be restored until the crawlspace was cleaned and dried.

In order to prevent mold spores from finding their way into uncontaminated areas of the home, we put a containment barrier in place while we cleaned and dried the crawlspace below the home.
