Our staff begins initial training at SERVPRO’s corporate training facility. This fifteen (15) day course is hands on and acts as the foundation for all future training. Fire, water, and mold damage is covered, but many are surprised to learn that carpet and upholstery cleaning is also part of the course. This is all to maximize your savings benefits, as we have a more restorative philosophy towards property damage.

Extended Training is provided

SERVPRO of West Bradenton / Anna Maria offers both credit and noncredit courses for insurance agents, insurance adjusters, real estate professionals, and- of course- our own staff. These programs are designed to improve knowledge of emergency mitigation. Courses include:

• Understanding Mold in the Restoration Industry
• Restorative Drying for Loss Control
• Mitigation Awareness Response Seminar

In addition, every SERVPRO restoration specialist is up to date and certified with the IICRC, Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. This keeps them knowledgeable on the best practices in the business.

Finally, we provide access to web-based training for our employees. Video presentations and support materials are followed by a knowledge test at the end of each module. This keeps our technicians and office staff up to speed on industry standards and the professional quality you expect.
